yeah I'm flipping back and forth when the satellite isn't down due to the thunderstorms.

The Marshall game will get some rain here shortly judging from the radar.

Maybe if it rains, the UCF players can spend the time learning how to score TDs.

I shouldn't complain though. UCF football was a joke when I was there (2000-04).

First things first, you don't have a BIG school within 800 miles of you in Utah

This is true. The only school we have to really compete with geographically is byU, and they only think they're a "Big" school. We also have the benefit of being in a conference that either chronically underachieves (like San Diego State) or is just plain awful (like UNLV).

I don't know, but I'd be willing to bet they had something to do with this graphic here:

yeah...

They've made strides though.

Being that they are a Florida school, there is a depth of players from that area....

Yep. No Rose Bowls yet for them but at least they're watchable and competitive. I could've gone to the game last week but didn't.

Michigan State...can wash the bad taste from its mouth with a win against in-state rival Michigan

Mike, you follow the Big 10 a lot closer than I do, do you think John L. Smith is toast at Mich. State? The poor guy looks like he's aged about 30 years since he's been at Michigan State.

Oregon will win the game at Cal by 2 TDs. They will show why they are the best team in America.

He needs a victory over either Michigan or Ohio State, and then he needs to hold serve at home the rest of the year to make a bowl game.

Even then I don't think he'll be back next year.

Given the uproar and given that people are now expecting Michigan State to blow up every year about this time, I'm think he'll be gone unless they beat BOTH Michigan and Ohio State.

You have my attention. WHY do you think they are the best team in America?

Michigan State will get ROLLED by both Michigan and Ohio State. I don't follow Michigan State too closely but I think its a safe bet the coach will not be back next year.

WHY do you think they are the best team in America?

Because they have Phil Knight, the richest owner in College Football? :)

I think so...

Both Michigan and Ohio State are both playing with confidence and consistency. Two things that Michigan State sorely lacks.

That and both the Michigan and Ohio State coaching staffs aren't slapping themselves in press conferences.
