I've seen the Rangers embarass themselves quite a bit over the years but this, in the playoffs no less, has just taken it to a whole new level.

Nope. The Dallas Stars have their embarrassment meters pegged.

For the FOURTH year in a row, Marty Turco fails to show up in goal, and gives up five goals in the first game, and five goals in the second.

Dallas has had one good period, the second last night.

'Course, in game one, the Modano line had no points, goals, no assists, and Modano himself had five giveaways to the Avs.

Eddie Belfour was a nutty friggin' drunk, but man, could he step up in the playoffs and shut the door!!

Yeah well you have to get to the playoffs first to step up and this season Belfour didn't exactly propel the Toronto Maple Leafs anywhere except to the phone to confirm tee times. I understand Ed will be available to whoever next season though.

Dude, you ain't kidding. It isn't entirely Turco's fault, but he has now played enough playoff games to establish a very disturbing pattern. The Stars should seriously consider switching to Hedberg for the rest of the playoffs. They still may not win, but they certainly aren't going to win if they continue playing like the first two games.
