We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
What a sight. Across the United States, the power of the Federal Government to secure its borders was shown to be totally impotent as illegals marched alongside citizens also marching for their "rights". Signs abounded across The Mall in Washington--"I built your home", "we are America", "let us stay".
Ok, they had their turn. Now it's ours.
First and foremost, to the question of whether they should stay or not, that one is simple--if you arrived in this country and continue to maintain your presence legally, then welcome! You have earned the right to stay, be prosporous, free, and happy.
On the other hand, if you chose to trash our laws, then you do not belong, and you should go home. Or the United States Government, if it can ever find the will to protect itself, should send you home.
Thus the paradox has been established. On the one hand, the United States says it is a sovereign power and is entitled to the one thing that separates sovereign from subordinate powers--the ability to count people. Intrinsic in this right to take a census is the ability to control the equation, that is, secure the Nation's borders.
Yet, the borders are not secure. In fact, the borders are so insecure that it is almost a roadway of sorts headed north from Mexico into our heartland. Hundreds are streaming in daily. It is estimated that almost ten million have simply walked into the United States from Mexico without paperwork or ceremony over the last decade. It is from these that the late protests are born.
One can suppose that at a fundamental level, people should be free to choose where they live, and by and large we welcome those who choose to live here. But hospitality has its limits. Indeed, as host, this country has the non-revocable right to determine who can stay and who should leave.
Is there a system that is foolproof, of course not--in fact, there are those who like to point out that the September 11th attackers were here legally. Yes, they were, but so what? Does anyone know who has run in across the southern border? Can anyone say with certainty that terrorists have not crept into the territory of the United States? Indeed, we have a much lower chance of finding that out if they enter illegally.
The left is wont to point out, however, that these people simply want to make a living, earn some money for them and their family. This is the point of the guest worker program the President offers up. The problem remains, however, in determining who gets to stay and who doesn't. A significant, though a small minority, number of illegals in the country are those who simply overstayed their visas. "Guest worker permits" are nothing more than a visa by another name--another paper that doesn't address the "who stays and who doesn't?" question. Quite the opposite; it says "come on in, we have even less enforcement than we did before".
The left is also quick to point out that citizenship should be available to those who work in this country and who have not broken our laws. The left, apparently, forgets one basic fact.
EVERY ILLEGAL ALIEN BROKE THE LAW THE MOMENT THEY SET FOOT ON AMERICAN SOIL!
But that matters not, the left has become so corrupt in their quest for a return to power, and to cement permanent power, that any potential vote counts.
But why should the left stop with just the illegals in this country? If they crave votes, why not create a "guest voter" program? Oh, wait, they already have that, what with some liberal precincts reporting over 100% turnout in some elections--must be the guests.
In the end, it's still the same. We have an issue with immigration that is screaming to be fixed, but in the process of getting there, a fundamental maxim needs to be observed: "no legal benefits for illegal acts!"
Otherwise, we might as well just say "forget the border, it's merely a line on the map."
And it won't be that much longer if we don't stand up for our sovereignity. While we may debate the various offers up for new immmigration policies, there is one now. And as has been said, the law is the law until the law is changed.
Send the illegals home.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
LET'S ROLL!!!
Good morning!!
Good morning. Thanks for getting us started.
I'm pretty stressed over an upcoming concert: the chorus is performing in about 12 days...we have had some horrible rehearsals, and time is running out.
Anyway, in the whole scheme of things to worry about, I know it's not really that important. I just hope the audience doesn't bring any things to throw at us!

Good morning, Chairman. Thanks for putting up this thread. See my new tag line....
Good morning. I'm pretty astounded to hear that the left thinks illegals vote. What do they know that we don't?
Good luck with your upcoming concert, Molly. I'm sure you'll all pull it together.
Today I am taking my mother shopping for a new couch. She is a slow decision maker and has already warned me it will be one trip of many.
The weather here is spectacular and the birds are a delight to watch. Our blue birds are back and so are the hummingbirds one of which flew and a cardinal literally brushed my back as I lay down by the pool.
Thanks for the links, Molly! Shrill Hill's newest legislation is going to alienate her from most of red-blooded Americans.
Chair, thanks for the start; please see my new tag.
Thanks for the start Chairman.
I really am disturbed by the signs saying "A World Without Borders".
Good morning.
Good morning, Kassie. I'm so sore today. Yesterday I started some new exercises that combine pilates/yoga/tai chi(sp?). I don't know what they're called except painful :-)
Good morning! I've got to run, BBL.
Wow, how long did you exercise? Sounds like your muscles got a very good workout.
I have started walking Lady again, but I really need to do more than just that.
It was my second time doing these exercises that I found in a magazine. They look easy but are the most difficult I've ever done. Since they were new exercises to me, I only did them for about a half hour.
Walking is the best exercise you can do and it doesn't hurt anything so you can keep doing it.
"the left thinks illegals vote." Ms Sanchez?
(((lysie)))
Oh my goodness, I was catching up on the threads I missed these past few days and read where you had some kind of scary episode.
How are you ????????
...IRAN HAS ENRICHED URANIUM FOR THE FIRST TIME...
Hi kassie, it's good to see you. It's beautiful and cool up here, how's it down your way?
Hi johnny, how's it up your way?
I was that way last week. I purchased a couple of 5# weights the previous week and started using them last Friday. I could REALLY feel it the next day. Then on Sunday there was the marathon yard work thingy.
Aleve is our friend. And in this case, there is no shame in taking advantage of friends.
It is beautiful out right now. 71 degrees !
