We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
The news this morning is immigration and how it should be handled. I will try to keep this space as dispassioned as possible, but when the protestors carry symbobls such as this...

...it is hard to maintain a cool state.
Around 500,000 marched in Dallas, TX, for the rights of illegal aliens. Yes, the same folks who would want us to have sympathy for those people use such symbols as the American flag in distress and are brazen in their attempts to provoke.
Meanwhile, in St. Louis--this is 1,000 miles from Mexico(!!)--protestors seeking status for the illegals, or maybe the illegals themselves, are not carrying an American flag, but the flag of the invaders...

Other demonstrations took place in New Mexico, Minnesota (2,000 miles from Mexico!), Michigan, Iowa, Alabama, Utah, Oregon, Idaho, and California.
Meanwhile, a group calling themselves the "Border Guardians" burned a Mexican flag in front of the Mexican Consulate in Tuscon.
Then there is to be a protest today on The Mall in Washington, and get this: students from the Montgomery county, MD, school district who attend the event GET CREDIT!
In many cities today, in a National Day of Action, there will be protests. These will occur in such places as Washington, DC; Los Angeles, CA; Boston, MA; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Bakersfield, CA; Fort Myers, FL; Hays, KS; Oxford, OH.
Organizers intend to have people carry the flags of their "home" countries--not the flag of America.
But the overriding question in all of this? WHERE IS THE INS??
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
Prayers lifted for your situatuion.
Thanks, Molly; I just got to the excellent Couric one before I have to sign off and run.
Caught some of the coverage of the march and in the background you could hear "Proud to be an American" playing. I thought that was pretty funny.
Obviously they learned something from the Mexican flag criticisms from the first march.
About 20 years ago I had 2 panic attacks. I learned how to control them by telling myself to knock it off. I think because I was dozing off I couldn't do that. On top of that, I've been a tad congested.
I'll have it checked out.
Good morning.
Good morning
I wonder who planned this. Today, with coast to coast demonstrations for illegal alien rights seems an odd choice to give a major speech on the WOT.
Oh, well...
Thanks. I meant to ping the regulars, but I missed quite a few. I am so excited. I need to settle down and get some work done, but it is hard not to celebrate a little more.
The doctor who performs that surgery needs hazardous duty pay.
Good morning, young man. Get to class.
Congrats on reaching your goal.
Thanks sweetie. This is very exciting for us. It has been a long two years. We were thinking we'd have to fund this ourselves out of our retirement funds. PTL we did not have to do this.
Lysie, I was about to send out an APB for you. Things just didn't seem quite right.
Now, Toby, nor Dog, have posted this AM. Toby said that he was having computer problems. But I would like at least a peep from Bill or someone down there to let me know things are okay.
I'm assuming Dog is at work now. But he's been quiet today, too.
I am sorry to sound so cold-hearted, but you have to know your limitations and know when you are not doing anyone any good.
G is coming home from work early so he can go to his mother's doctor's appointment to set things straight.
Very astute observation; thank you.
Oh Lysie!!! When is she going to a care center???? Your body is telling you something - no, your body is SCREAMING at you. Stop and listen. I am praying for you.
Please, please take care of yourself! Our prayers are with you to get this situation resolved and reduce stress on YOU.
Good thing your hubby was alert enough to act quickly. (((lysie)))
I continue to be amazed at these people.
Ping me please or tell me where to read. I want to be excited with you.
Well, I say it's time we take those libs up on their suggestion that GWB wasn't 'elected' in 2000. If he really wasn't elected, I think he might be eligible to be on the ballot in '08.
