We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Good morning!!

Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

In Iraq, three terrorist bombers killed 79 people at a Shiite mosque.

A French energy executive says the world cannot meet the oil demands of consuming nations over the next 10 years.

Astronomers have discovered that Uranus, like Saturn, has a blue ring.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Answering a little late, but better than never.

Yes, that does actually work. I did that more than once when my kids were little and we were out of powdered sugar. All powdered sugar is is granulated sugar broken down.

We had an entire chapter on sugar in school. Originally, it was provided in a cone shape, and there was a hand-operated machine to grind it to the proper fine-ness. Or scraped with a knife. Cheap sugar was darker than what we're used to.

I don't have highly refined sugar in my house. I use hoisin sauce in my marinades, and mollases or honey for a sweetener.

The only highly refined sugar I have is in the ice-cream I use for malted milks.

I think Dr. Atkins had a point, based on the research that I've done.

I cannot forward what I just wrote about the msm presstitutes. I'd be banned. Oh, where is Scott dinksboomps, with all this information coming out? Remember when he appeared on all the talk shows saying we should never go into Iraq because there WERE NO WMD? Where is the fellow now?

Cheap sugar was darker than what we're used to.

But, I bet, not darker than what I use in my overseas home.

MAY I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE? I HAVE AN ANNOUNCEMENT TO MAKE.

Many of you know that my husband and I work overseas in a work that is supported by many individuals and churches. We were supposed to return home last summer but were unable to do so due low support. Our monthly support reached the 100% mark this past January. But we still had a large one-time need. Today, just now, WE HAVE BEEN INFORMED THAT THE ENTIRE ONE-TIME NEED HAS BEEN MET.

We will be booking tickets and the youngest, hubby and I will be returning overseas this July. PTL!

So... Your orders are funded by TPB, and you are headed off to distant uncomfortable places to do work that is unapprecieated by most...

I can live with that. Bet you can, too.

God bless you and yours on your journey.

Keep in touch.

LOL! I appreciate your trips more today than when we first 'met' over the internet. Lots has changed.

When Trill and I were together, I told her... "I've been everywhere I want to be, and by golly, I'm not leaving Texas, ever again."

With salt and pepper, and some choking... I've managed to eat those words.

My Father, and my uncle have different ideas from mine about where I'm supposed to be. And they win. Every time.

Man says pack and go... I pack and go.

My job. I'm just a cook. I'll know what to do when I get wherever I'm going. HE wouldn't have sent me otherwise....

Lessons learned. True story about how sometimes prayers are answered by "no" and for our own good.

In the early 80's, a large investment firm contacted my husband through a recruiter. They needed someone to verify mining properties. My husband flew to New York for the interview. He was treated quite well, given positive reviews by all concerned, ate in the exclusive executive dining room where they brought around cigars on silver trays. The pay for this job was enormous by our standards. My husband and I prayed that this was the place we should go. We were so certain we even contacted a realtor about houses and were looking at what we could afford.

Well, a few weeks passed and we heard nothing more. Finally my husband contacted the man who had interviewed him, and we found out the guy was too embarassed to call us. My husband didn't get the job because at the last minute someone from within the company who had "contacts" with the higher ups decided he wanted the job. No relocation money would have to be paid, and besides he was buddies with some of the people.

We were crushed. But you know what? About a year later the bottom fell out of the housing market in New York, and the investment firm laid off about 1/2 their work force. We would have lost everything if we had gone to New York. Out of work with a mining engineering specialty in New York City with a house payment you can't make is the recipe for foreclosure and bankruptcy. Plus my parents' health started to fail a few years after that, and I would have not been able to help with their care. I particularly cherish the time I spent with my dad before he got too sick, and I would have missed all of those years.

I am thinking I told this story before here, and if so, I apologize. But your Father does indeed know what's best for you. Learning this is one of the most important lessons of life.
