Hmmmm...three times. AI suppies its own coaches who work with the contestants during each week. If they are in some way interfering with Taylor's instinctive choice of song, I think that's against the rules of the show. At least we've always been told that the contestants must make their own song choices.

A lot of people believe the producers have manipulated performances by messing with the sound system and some other production tricks. If they are also manipulating the contestants into not going with their preferred song choices, I hope they get sued eventually.

They can be sued, of course, but I doubt if the complainant would win, because the manipulation is so crafty and known only to the insider producers. It would be a hard case to prove.

But if someone sues and wins, it could ruin the careers of the two Simons; the Randy, the Paula, the Seacrest and others. It would be like the $64,000 Question scandal of the olden days.

Someone suggested on Scarborough that the FCC shoud crack down on AI and its producers and give them a hefty fine (if the public is being manipulated). Joe's expert said the FCC can't do a thing because the production company is British??? Maybe some legal-type person on here can clear that up.
