And now for tonights Dinklemeyer:
This is continuing the Deathball story, where our hero is being forced in gym class to play a horrifying game (based on my own Middle School experiences
hardly an exaggeration).
But actually, this individual strip represents something important: the lines are getting darker. After a while of practicing, my artistic abilities were gradually getting better. Here, we see the contrast is greater and the strip is a little easier to look at.
Be sure to show up Friday, because then were going to meet the third major character to be introduced and become a character. And you definitely wont want to miss that.
Archives are on my homepage.
Enjoy.
I loved both! (am I first?)
Ol' Sloby being mistreated by those UN Brutes. The horror! :-)
Yes! You are first tonight! First!
Although while you may sometimes be the 50th, you are always first in my book.
Awww....thanks babe!
If there were true justice in the world, a long time ago he would have been...
I'm soooo glad Milosovic is dead!!!
I enjoyed playing volleyball when it was recreational. For that matter, I liked playing sports a lot when it was with friends and just for fun. But Middle School was a place of fascism and brutality for me at the bottom of the social ladder.
I excempt High School, though, because we never did anything in P.E. We just sat on benches while the coach was off running errands.
Well, the ultimate uselessness of the UN is further illustrated. It is nothing more than a debating society and country club that is funded with tax money (received by making people feel guilty if they do not pony-up the cash).
He deserved a lot worse than he got, I can say that much.
You got it exactly right. The UN's worthlessness is shown in its handling of the whole Kosovo scenario. They were given charge of rebuilding the country. They failed miserably, and the nation today is nothing more than a basket case. The same can be said for Slobodan Milosevic's so-called "trial."
We hear a lot about how bad Iraq is, but the coalition forces are doing an immensely better job than the UN did in Kosovo.
Let's see... heart attack... knife through the heart?
I made it!
Wow, you're early tonight!
An unsterilized knife, at that.
I would have prefered that he die by lead poising - lead in the form of high-velocity 9mm "doses"
I used to say that the UN was at least effective in humintarian aid. I said that until the rise of the internet and could read stories about how horribly botched most UN relief efforts are. It is a massive, self-aggrandising organisation that constantly hungers for cash. The difference between prostitues and the UN is that prostitues are honest about what they do.
Or a stake....
