Well I won't believe a word of anything any given guest says until Major Ed Dames confims it! By Golly!
Hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City have been filled with thousands of children who have caught respiratory and digestive illnesses due to the hot weather.
Pediatric Hospital I reported that it had examined nearly 4,000 children patients a day with some 85 per cent of them suffering from respiratory problems, said a hospital doctor.
Meanwhile, more than 3,000 children were brought into Pediatric Hospital II on Monday. One-third of the children had respiratory problems and 300 others had digestive problems.
Besides, many children have been hospitalized for brain diseases caused by the entero virus.
The major reason behind the illnesses is that children are sleeping all night with fans on due to the hot weather in recent days.
Recombinomics Commentary: The deafening dearth of data in Vietnam may have ended.
The number of children alone would be cause for concern, but large numbers of patients with respiratory and digestive illness and "brain diseases". in
Vietnam ring alarm bells very loudly.
Serious H5N1 testing is indicated, although results from Quang Binh, Haiphong, and Quang Ninh have not been reported.
Bird flu monitoring in Vietnam is well beyond scandalous.
So is author Gary Renard going to tell us that he learned from the spirit guides that health care in Viet Nam is substandard?
Bradbury is a living legend but these days he's well nigh incoherent.
Thanks for the ping, BK. Let's hope that Mr. Bradbury can muster some coherence tonight. I heard him speak years ago at a luncheon and he was spellbinding.
I think I'll write a book about my spirit guides. We all should, it's a quick way to make a buck and who has facts and figures to refute you?
I heard him speak at a library and loved it. His enthusiasm for life and for writing was inspiring.
Hello Karl!
I'll stay up as late as possible - remember, I'm in Boston so Art comes on pretty late out here.
Thanks for posting that! Bradbury's my lifelong hero, and Marc Zicree's book on the Twilight Zone is excellent. I have one old battered reference copy and a "keeper" copy. Glad to see his book is now included with vol 1 of the new, definitive TZ DVD.
He must be going on 100. I have his book on writing. It is interesting to find out where writers get their ideas. Bradbury hasn't relied on science as Jules Verne did. Nor did he take a sociology view as did H.G. Wells. Inner reflection, that seems to be the course for him.
who has facts and figures to refute you?

Eye Dew !!! ;-))
Bradbury is great, I recommend his "Death is a Lonely Business", a late work that I just loved. His book on writing fiction is HIGHLY recommended over all those crap "how to" books.
He'll be 85 later this year.
Oh, just a young whippersnapper.
wow..I must have missed that program. I'm glad I did. Di you recall the guests name?
I am wondering what tomorrows show about the Titanic is about....maybe James Cameron recorded some ghosts in the sub down there.
Ray says the next 85 years will be glorious...!
well, that is sure a change from guests on this show!
Tune in again. Not every guest is a gem, but some are.
