My son and daughter steered me to FR. My son gave me his old computer..though I was not really interested, silly me.(delivered it, hooked it up, got me on dialup)..

I lurked for a long time..got a new computer, got cable registered and relearned to type during the live threads on the invasion of Baghdad..Reading FR kept me sane in 2000.

We had a computer ( still have it,though nobody uses it, since it was bought in 1980 or 81 !),but my husband bought a WebTV, in '87, found FR, and promptly got me hooked on it. In a way, it was a bit of selfpresurvation, on his part. This was during the Monica mess and he didn't fancy my wanting to talk about it ALL of the time; so he found me someplace where people DID want to do just that. LOL
