The network asked that they not kill a President as per the Charlie Rose interview. He's still critical.Well, let's hope Keeler recovers by next season. Logan was a friggin' disaster.

This was my first season and I'm hooked. I'll be around for next, that's for sure. Now that you are hooked. You need to go to the video store and rent the previous seasons so you can be all caught up. :^)

Which season was the best? This one was the best I've seen. But the others are good too. I haven't seen season 1 yet. I plan to rent it soon.

Logan was a friggin' disaster. However, didactically he was perfect. Also, the strength and resourcefullness of the Palmer character was also a good model to be shown the American people...and what such figures have to put up with and deal with in the political world. All in all, good lessons.

Thanks for keeping this great thread going, OXEN. Hubby and I enjoyed our first season of "24". Now to catch up on the other three seasons... ;-)

After today's final episode I am once again a huge fan of 24. The writers are shamelessly having a great time with the show and no doubt wrote in scenes from previous Sutherland endeavors. Thanks for pointing out "Flatliners", what a hoot tie it in to the last part of the show. Looking forward to the upcoming season!

I'll have to! Which season was the best?Just watch them all, in order. They're all great. But they are also chronological. Season 2 makes much more sense if you first see Season 1. Season 3 makes more sense if you first see the first two seasons. Only Season 4 pretty much stands on its own, although even then you are better off first watching the first three seasons.

You know.. I ALMOST missed the first hour of this show... Hard-drive crash, CPU glitch, memory error, or whatever, in my head, I really don't know. I was driving, it was about 8:10, and I thought I had about an hour, and was heading to get some gas at a station, known for lower prices than others(last week, they had regular for 1.82 a gallon, when others were still at about 2.00 a gal), so, I headed that way, and THEN.. I remembered.. 24 starts an HOUR earlier, tonight!!!I grabbed my cellphone, and told my sister to start the VCR, and then, I raced home, but the tank on my van was reading past empty, and "0 miles" to empty, on the readout, so I had to get a little gas, to be safe..
Get home, about 8:30, and it is the point where Jack and Clarence and reviewing the video of Tony" getting killed". So-- I guess I did not miss all that much, and was able to catch up, fast.
NOW-- why did the producers decide to do an "incredible hulk walk", when Jack left Tony and Michelle, and "walked into the sunset"? And, why didn't ballless Logan, tell the CHiComs, to stick it, after all, THEY were partially responsible, for a Nuclear terrorist attack on the US, after all?
AND-- where is the man that Jack "persuaded" to talk, in the truck, a month or so ago?
AND-- is Berhooz, taking a dirt nap?

You're right, Logan is just a great example of a VP chosen for the so-called political reasons; a partisan hack with little talent (or spine) and apparently no real integrity.
Luckily, in the real world, "W" made a much better choice.
Does anyone really think the "Novak" character was a coincidence :)
To: whenigettime
Can't recall who first noticed the "FLATLINERS" reference but it does show that the writers are having some fun, doesn't it?! C-ya next January (if not before!).

Did you catch the "Eye of the Needle" reference by President Palmer when Jack calls him at the end?? If you haven't seen the movie, rent it. It stars Keifer Sutherlands father, Donald Sutherland.
