Vince Neil says the F-word on Leno
NBC

I don't know how many of you are watching the Tomight Show tonight, but it's a live show. Motley Crue was playing "Girls, Girls, Girls" and during the song Vince Neil turns to Tommy Lee and says, "Hey Tommy, Happy F***in' New Year!" Apparently there was no 7-second delay. Wonder if the FCC will do anything about this or if anyone will complain...

I heard it. Was going to post this and then thought, "oh no, not this sh!t again!!!"

I doubt the FCC will do anything. There is a different standard on New Year's and live TV. If today was May 17 then maybe the FCC would be concerned.

I couldn't believe it when I first heard it... I have Tivo so I hit rewind and sure enough he said it plain as day, unedited. I guess we'll see if anyone else notices, or cares.

Leno had Motley Crue on his show? Cool. Well, it would have been cool twenty years ago. Always keeping current, I hear next New Year's Eve he's featuring Billy Squier and Men at Work.

You're right, it was clear as a bell. I believed my ears, though -- you know the whole band (and probably Jay and the entire audience), have been drinking since 3PM.

Conan's party is way better anyway...

Actually, I have advanced word that he will have Cinderella and April Wine on next year's show.

If they had performed a NEW song, I wouldn't rag on them as much. But the first song was from '87 or so. Yes, Leno has Robert Palmer and the Eurythmics pegged for New Year's Eve 2005!

Yep, REO Speedwagon too!!!

Sorry, Robert Palmer won't make it. He died this year...

AUGGH! April Wine! I forgot about them. LOL!
I almost substituted Timbuk 3 for Men at Work, but it seemed too obscure. :-)

Now when the Eurythmics sing "Here Comes the Rain Again", they start compaining about their sore joints.

It's after 10P; if the FCC follows their own rules, they won't say anything (and won't be able to).

Conan's party was disgusting. From what I saw it reinforced why I don't watch Conan. Don't watch Leno either, at least Letterman is semi-intelligent.
