Izzit time to come home yet?
Sat through a profoundly bored meeting - 8 hours worth - and contemplated trying to pop my eyeballs out of my head. I have another one today. We have absolutely no input in this meeting (unlike yesterday) but my management orcses said, "We will be represented!" So I'm gonna sit there. Am thinking about sneaking in a book, which would be rude but would represent my management orcses very well!
Military towns and pseudo-military towns like Huntsville are a real hoot food-wise. I ate Vietnamese for lunch yesterday (something meat and veggies on rice in a clay pot) and German (jagerschnitzel sp???) for dinner. Who knows what they'll drag me along to today! :)
Definately don't need that coat I packed. :)
Good morning!
It's snowing, it's snowing, it's snowing! Still only a coupla inches, but we had a coupla inches the other day and a few days before that...so it's starting to almost add up! I'd still like a big storm, but this isn't bad...
Lil - German food? *whimper* That's what I miss most about that assignment. Big time.
Didn't get much done in the way of work on the office last night on account of it was music night, but spackling seems to be done as is most of the sanding, and I went over most of the walls with a damp sponge to get rid of any dust. If we can get masking tape up tonight, we may be applying the primer stuff! That's pretty exciting, really. It's got color to it, though it's not really regular paint...I've been looking at wallboard for what seems like forever, so that'll be neat! We should be done painting by the beginning of next week, and then...I can call the realtor. *bites nails*
Today would be Mom's birthday.
Had leftovers with eggs for breakfast. Mmmmm.
Big hug from me to you.
Mmmm is right!
I had eggs with red bell peppers and onions and pepper cheese. Still good. But I do miss German food! We have almost NO ethnic restaurants around here. Mostly diners - some of them serve wonderful stuff, but it'll be nice to be somewhere with more variety!
*sigh*
Heavens it's going to be boring!
(((Rosie)))
I still haven't gotten back to dieting. Hard when so much else is going on.
*sigh*
I need to set a date to start and then be really strict with myself.
Thanks, guys. It's gotten a bit easier, but the milestones are still rough.
I know.
March 23. August 1.
It's okay to grieve Rosie. It's okay to cry. Never feel bad about that. Just don't let it consume you. But you know that.
We're here for you.
Good morning Rosie...
Hugs to you.
Good morning! Lil...you're German food talk has got my stomach growling! Yager Schnitzel (sp? LOL) is my all time favorite German dish.
It's snowing Rosie? Is it pretty? Think of this!
"No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him." 1 Cor 2:9
God Bless you today, Rosie. You know your Mom would be proud of you getting on with your life, especially your upcoming move.
My mom's is coming up Feb 1.
If she were alive, I'd feel pressured right now.... "aw geez, what am I gonna get mom? Birthday's comin' up." Right now I'd just like to take her out to dinner.
I took some pics the other day after SSQ had plowed the driveway, but haven't gotten them uploaded to York yet. I'll have to take a picture while this snow is coming down. It's really pretty.
Kim in Tulsa Wednesday, January 26, 2005 8:01:18 AMOh, we heard that sometimes you can reset the "Check Engine" light by disconnecting the battery. So we tried that. It didn't work, but do you remember me saying my brake light kept coming off and on? Well, while I was watching Steve disconnect the battery, I noticed a little resevoir...it said Brake Fluid on it and had a line on the side, I pointed out to Steve that there was only a scant amount of fluid in the bottom of thing...no where near the line. He looked at me rather appalled and said "That might be a problem" and left right then to AutoZone and got some brake fluid. Filled it up to the line...no more brake light! The code P0420 (Pea Zero Four Two Zero) is mentioned a bit here...might need a sensor changed or a catalyst.

Ha ha!
Ok, the other trouble code is for the CPS...the camshaft position sensor. This appears to possibly be an electrical problem (which may be related to our fuse blowing situation?)
Trouble code for it is P0340
But you're right, none of it seems like a disaster waiting to happen. Still, Chilton's explains how to fix 'em.
