The other thing you need to do is to make sure you 'finalize' the CD (an option on Nero, others handle it as being a 'multisession cd') Most car stereos will not play a CD that is not 'finalized'.

some older auto cd players won't play CD-Rs at all either. You need to make sure the equipment you're using (CD player) is compatible with the media you're using... You will want to use the music CD feature of easy cd creator (if I remember correctly that's what you stated you were using), and you want to burn with the disc at once record method (this will keep extra blank space from between the tracks you burn onto the CD).
