Scary stuff, Jem. I know. When I was about 9 I choked on a piece of meat. It was way before Heimlich so my brother gave me a HUGE wack on the back. It dislodged the obstruction. He was 10 and I can still see the look of fear on his face.

I've been gone since early this AM setting up our fellowship hall for the 'after funeral luncheon'....
...The viewing was at 9AM and the funeral at 10AM....
..and the funeral home was one in south Palm Bay--(which suffered severe damage from Frances & Jeanne)
The grieving family go to our church 25, 30 miles from Palm Bay, but the other relatives live there.....
...I hadn't been to Palm Bay since the storm, and house after house after house had roof damage, or complete roof's off....and damage to companies, businesses, schools, etc.
It looked like a war zone...
..and the funeral home was without power!!!!
Oh my, no air conditioning in close to 100 degree heat!
They decided to have the complete service outside......but little relief that was.
Some sat under the canopy, but most of us stood for 1-1/2 hours, baking in the sun and heat.
It was miserable.
After the funeral, the family was invited up the highway for 30 miles for the luncheon...(I know, I know.....this was poor planning but last minute, plus the hurricane has messed up everyone)
..I am so tired....
...hubby just went to a Christian concert without me .......the spirit is welling, but my body is fatiqued :(
Last night's debate!...I t hought Bush was fabulous!!!
I thought his point of 'how can Kerry expect help from allies if he denigrates the war effort....and also insults Allawi!!!'......
..President Bush made excellent points...
..and I don't appreciate Fox News spinning a Kerry win....piffle on them!
