Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Pass them by! Pass them by!
New verse:
|
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Why does that sound like a Monty Python skit? (It's that ",what" at the end. Makes it sound so British, even though the thread poster doesn't sound like the type to know where Britain is.
Why don't I believe it, either?

Well, yes it is. We don't need to focus on that from the start, that is the number in his whole unit. We can begin sending knives to him... to be given out to whomever he chooses....

No cookies today. :-( Maybe tomorrow, though then I'll have to wait a day to watch any. But...that'll make it last longer, so I guess that's not necessarily a bad thing!
OK, got a good chunk of the straightening done...still have quite a bit to do, but my kitchen is pretty well organized now. I can find things in the cabinets without scrounging...always a positive thing!

I was told no, I can't get out of it. excúseme? That seems a little at odds with "cooperative". I can understand if they didn't want to refund a % of money if you'd already paid. but sheesh.

Is it Friday yet?
What's for dinner?

Saw the skull thread. But I was on another thread. And I'm not sure I really want to explain
this post.
Is it really that obscure?
To: RosieCotton
Oh, man....
Got out of the seminar and it was storming. Pouring rain, thunder - and close, so I was too wimpy to use my umbrella. I had to use my jacket to protect the Eva box, 'cuz it's nice and not mine, so I got totally soaked. Got home and pulled on my warm flannels right away. I just hope I don't get sick. The bus was pretty chilly, and I was totally drenched - like I had a shower with my clothes on. Miserable.
In good news, FMA 50 is downloading. Only I have Really Bad Feelings about this...

Corin, if I can figger out your dirty-minded references, it's not that obscure.
Not that I have any idea what you're talking about, of course.
