I understand what you are trying to say, but the point you may be missing is that these people are not body-snatchers or graverobbers. The people doing this research are helping to catch and convict very bad people who have no business among us. They are not using corpses unless they were donated by the person who became the corpse. If you have infomation contrary-wise,please post a link to it.

If, after I die, I wish for my mortal remains to be used for this research, how is that being disrespectful to my corpse, since it is what I wished while alive?

And what dang difference does does it make, anyway? Once I am departed from this body, it will no more be me than the oak tree in my front yard is now.

It's still not justified, like I said before ones life and body are indivisible elements of oneself called human. no one has the rights to claim these elements.

Slavery was legal in ancient times, common people's life too are not considered meaningful by kings, emperors, tyrants whatever. The time has changed, now we do respect these fundamental human rights.

I may think ahead of our time? Maybe, I wish one day we should all understand human life and body are a precious things given by The Mighty Lord. I wish we never have to do this again.
