So .... you decided to come back to the future? :)

I hope you had a great Friday.

We are leaving for a vacation in AZ on Sunday. We will be gone until the following Sunday.

Hope you have time to stop by and check the place once in awhile.

If I don't see you again before I leave, I want to wish you a fantastic week.

I took a bit of a vacation from FR for a day or so.
And guess what happens.. trolls come out of the woodwork, FUN happens allover.
Ya hear that? FUN happens when I am away.
*whimper sniffle Chuckle*

Okers, that out of the system, I'm back.

Ya don't mind if I hide in your luggage?

Fun happens everyday at Amy's Place. :)

FR has so many trolls that they can keep you busy full time. They must be getting worried if they are devoting so much time to us.

Not at all. It will sure be nice to get away for a few days.

Yes, the trolls are very worried to be devoting so much time to wandering about FR.
Sometimes hysterical, sometimes infuriating.

And yes, I MISSED quite ALOT while I was out.
It's weird!
It's almost as much as if people wait until I'm away and then pop out of nowhere.
*chuckle*
(With the trolls, that may be the case. "D-sheare's not in today, we're home free!" / bad poor tasteless unfunny joke.)

As far as hiding in your luggage.. I probably cannot.
Fun as it would be, I'm afraid it would be at the cost of items packed.
Vacations aren't fun when the only things that get brought along are one pair jeans, one shirt, and some cologne.
Plus one weird luggage stowaway.

Enjoy your vacation, and bring back all the tales of your trip that you can.

I hope to take some nice desert pictures while in Tucson. And maybe some wonderful red rock formations while in Prescot.

If Mr JA does not want to drive all the way home on Saturday, I may get a couple of shots of a slot machine in Laughlin, Nev. :)

Hmm. If you head anywhere close to Tenopah(Tenobah?) Nevada see if you can get some pics of the place. It's where my Grandfather was born and where my great-grandmother spent her youth before heading back to Ohio.

Tucson, there's some people I bebother that live out that way, but you're not likely to be able to find them even if you tried.
And I know them from the Dimensional Doors thread from WAY back in the 'dark ages' so it's not likely you'd know them.

I'll check the map for Tonopah. I've seen it but can't picture exactly where it's located.

Just checked, Tonopah is north of Las Vegas. About half way between Las Vegas and Reno. We won't be going that far north. We will be quite a bit south of LV.

If I ever get there, I will get pictures for you.

Never been there myself, and don't know anything about the place.
Grandpa and Great-Grandma didn't say much about the place.
Of course, there's also the spot where the family had a farm in - I think - Minnesota.
I'll have to dig the exact info out of the box it's in, and that's alot of digging to go through considering the sheer amount of info gathered.
*chuckle*
Oddly, there's very little info about Nevada, almost as if that was an embarrassing or 'dark' period in family history.
(Or just poorly documented!)

You know what happened today? I found out my black neighbor across the street is a Republican. Is there anything more shocking? Victor is very, very cool and we all love him. I told him about FR, so maybe he'll show up.

He said his parents were Republican too. I guess I was kinda standing there with my mouth open, catching flies and such, but I was just so excited and happy.

If your Grandpa moved to Tonapah from the east, it may have been a tough change of scene. I have not been there but it looks like desert. A lot of Nevada is desert.

Now you go into the Lake Tahoe area, it is beautiful. High altitude and lots of snow in the winter.

Awwwwwww, that pix of Curly reminds me of my daughter's cockatiel named "Mo" who could say "Nyuck, nyuck, nyuck" and "Oh, a wiseguy". I miss him so much.
