Robert is having a procedure called an atherectomy, which will get some blood clots out of his legs. If this is successful, they will not go up into his heart.
Robert, I hope you don't mind me sharing this with others, but I thought the prayers could help!

Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks for our FReeper friend, so faithful to the plight of Terri Schiavo. Just as he has lifted Terri so many times before the Throne of Grace, we do so for him. Merciful Father, grant the greatest wisdom to the surgeon and Robert's medical team, that they would be successful in the removal of these blood clots. Let none be overlooked and let none break loose to threaten him ... may recovery be swift and complete ... grant that there wouldn't be recurrence. May Robert feel the assurance of Your presence and the prayers of his FReeper family, in the Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen ...

This from Robert: ". . . surgery has been moved to Friday 6 March, 6 AM . . . " -- so he's in surgery right now.

Dear God and Father, we ask you to be with Robert right now, be with him through surgery and recovery. Strengthen him, keep him safe and well through the procedure. Guide the hands and minds of the surgical team and those in recovery -- let no one take anything for granted, or treat any aspect of this lightly, but let them be oh-so-careful in everything they do for him.

I pray also for my dear friend's husband who will be undergoing surgery Mar 11, next Thursday, after years in pain and disability, please give him relief. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Heavenly Father, I lift up Robert, and his friends and family to you for comfort to know that you are working on Robert's behalf. Lord, I come in agreement with the prayers for wisdom, grace, and mercy for all of his health care providers. I ask for salvation and the in-filling of the holy spirit for all involved. I ask that what the enemy meant for evil you will use for good. I ask for complete healing and recovery, and that this medical experience will not be a financial or emotional drain for Robert or his family. I ask that all their needs will be met.
