I just looked it up and no, guess not. Glen wrote it so I guess he sang it first. I thought I remembered someone else did it first. I was wondering the same thing about the Highwayman. Who did that one first Glen or the Willie, Waylon outlaws group? Just wondering out loud. i should go look.

I've never heard another version of "The Highwayman", other than the one done by the Highwaymen (Willie, Waylon, Kris Kristofferson, and Johnny Cash).
