Hey, spoof, sorry about the problems. Some freepers are highly suspicious about new people, it comes from some past history where new people have sometimes been, basically, enemies returning with a new name.

It also takes a little while, IMO, to get "broken in." Even then, you will always run into people who will insult you (and sometimes people, I must admit, that you're pleased to insult back!)

You can also run into a lot of very nice people here. So don't give up too quick.

thanks cindy and luke. i guess i can understand getting broken in. usual fare for most boards. never ran into insults though. hopefully i'll spend more time here, get to know everyone and all that.

as for the weather in utah...it's very foggy, fairly snowy and insanely cold. it gets a bit creepy at night. being surrounded by snow, and only able to see about a foot ahead of you. we need it all though, we've been in a drought.
