United States: US East Zone: including the states of Alabama, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hamphire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Vermont, US Virgin Islands, Virginia, and West Virginia.
US Central Zone: including the states of Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin.
US West Zone: including the states of Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.
I think I saw that episode regarding Nortradamus. It was more than America divided into 3 regions as I recall. It was about our inability to get along together, and the disaster which happened would result in us having to learn to live together in harmony among the many islands which we were living upon. As if there had been a violent earthquake or flood which resulted in low lying lands being swallowed up in water.
