James Stubbs is also known as Jamil Daoud Mujahid, according to U.S. State Department spokesman Adam Ereli.

Could his name could be aliased as Da 'il (Daleel) al-mujahid (Almojahid) or as we know him Daleel_Almojahid?
Just a curiosity. ;)

I did a quick google search last night on Al-Mujahid. It seems that this is the name of an Islamic militant group reportedly affiliated with al qaeda.
It is also frequently used as a title. I found an instance where it was used before Arafat's name.
Like the definition you found, it also means "warrior", or "station of warrior".
Of course, it also seems to be a very common name.
