{{{IMPORTANT!}}}
The thing we miss the most are "Homegrown Terrorism" there have been many incidents not making the news but here are a few:

Truck Driver, and Terrorist’Ohio Man Admits ‘Secret Life’ Plotting With Al Qaeda - June 19 — An Ohio truck driver who lived a "secret double life" has admitted to meeting with Osama bin Laden and plotting with al Qaeda to launch new attacks in the United States, Attorney General John Ashcroft announced today.

Hits on Yahoo on subject

The one that scares me the most:

The terror threat at home, often overlooked - Christian Science Monitor ^ | 12/28/03 | Kris Axtman - Posted on 12/28/2003 7:02:10 PM CST by Holly_P - As the media focus on international terror, a Texan pleads guilty to possessing a weapon of mass destruction. - HOUSTON - It began as a misdelivered envelope and developed into the most extensive domestic terrorism investigation since the Oklahoma City bombing. Last month, an east Texas man pleaded guilty to possession of a weapon of mass destruction. Inside the home and storage facilities of William Krar, investigators found a sodium-cyanide bomb capable of killing thousands, more than a hundred explosives, half a million rounds of ammunition, dozens of illegal weapons, and a mound of white-supremacist and antigovernment literature.

The reasoning of fear is because the chem bombs have been discussed recently. The speculation at FR for years about dispersal. Lately the what would these chem bombs contain. We now have our answer - sodium-cyanide! And the fact EOS types like a white-supremacist.

So to me we are looking at the alliance of these homegrown phreaks and AlQ.

And lets not forget this:

Feds fear new anthrax from the new Homeland Security Drill dubbed "Scarlet Cloud" although we are better off than pre 911, we are still very vulnerable to anthrax attack and a large attack would kill thousands

By WILLIAM K. RASHBAUM - Published: December 30, 2003 With the city at a heightened state of alert, unprecedented security measures will be in place on New Year's Eve in Times Square, where revelers will have to pass through metal detectors borrowed from city schools for the night, officials said yesterday. - About 240 metal detectors, roughly twice as many as the Police Department had in place last year, will be used to screen the hundreds of thousands of people who are expected to come watch the ball drop, one official said. The police are telling those who plan to attend to leave bags and backpacks at home, and revelers will be screened as they enter a series of fenced areas in Times Square from side streets, officials said
