I just walked in from church and the Fox New announcer says there is a news conference scheduled for 1:30 pm ET where Tom Ridge is expected to raise the terror alert. Anyone have any details? 2,567 posted on 12/21/2003 11:33:27 AM CST by StillProud2BeFree

This was the first post when the terror level was raised. StillProud got it! It took us two months to get that far - 2,567 posts Since Sunday the 21st we have had 1047 posts!!! I want to thank the above Freepers I pinged for keeping it alive for two months and I am so glad we have so many Freeper's who have since joined this thread and contributing so much. Once again I want to say I am so proud to be a Freeper and knowing some how we have made a difference in helping to protect our country I know we are all willing to sacrifice and even die for. Bump to Free Republic and it's Patriot's!!!

FYI... Saw this over at the NIN website.

Investigative Note: There is an unusual number of personnel present at the Pentagon as of 1730 EST 24 December 2003, according to a Washington source. This source stated that the number of personnel on duty is unusual, even for the heightened alert. "I was on-site every time they raised (and lowered) the alert level, and I have not seen it like this before."
