"British woman accused of airport bomb threats released on bond"

dovalle@herald.com ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Samantha Marson, the British woman who is making headlines in her country's tabloids for allegedly making bomb threats at Miami International Airport, was released from county jail on $5,000 bond on Wednesday.
Marson, 21, was arrested on Saturday, accused of telling screeners three times that she had bombs in her carry-on luggage. She was charged with making a false bomb threat and has a Feb. 6 arraignment."

"Cause of death determined for passenger on a flight from Miami"

icordle@herald.com ARTICLE SNIPPET: "The cause of death of the male passenger who died onboard a British Airways flight from Miami to London was ''broncopneumonia, contributed to by carcinoma of the right kidney,'' an autopsy performed in London has revealed, a Scotland Yard spokeswoman said Tuesday."

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Officials say all three suspects are now in custody that were spotted by a Metro Transit Police officer who heard gunfire near the Deanwood station.
Chief Polly Hanson says the gunfire was heard at about 2:30 Wednesday afternoon in the 47-hundred block of Minnesota Avenue. The veteran officer was in his marked car at the time, in uniform, on an auto theft patrol when he reported hearing something whiz through the air and determined it was gunfire."
