My french is a bit rusty, but shouldn't "moi cheri" be "mon cheri"? I would think that a frenchman would have a better command of his/her own language. Many arabs live in France. The last time I was there, they were everywhere.
My ex-husband was french. I met him when he was a student pilot at a small town flight school a little more than an hour from Memphis. Many young arabic men were going to school there. We couldn't understand why there were so many taking flight training. He said that no one would hire them because they couldn't be trusted. I guess we know "why" now.

I don't know french at all. I bet you are right though. The other thing I noticed is that it was broken english. Still this could all be staged by someone trying to Razzle people.
