Suggest stacking of emergency items ready to go in case of the need to make a quick exit (got to looking at our stuff and it was scattered all over the house). I put blankets, food and small portable stove in our backpacks. Am very thankful we bought camping gear this past summer. You never know. Leaves - yukky!

If I lived in NYC, I'd do the same thing. As it is, I am trying to consolidate and list things I'd want to grab, just in case. Get most things in one general area. :)

After taking 10 minutes earlier just finding my car keys to go to the grocery store, I realized that I'm still kind of scattered. Backpack is a good idea, as is the animal carrier. Going on my list of things to gather now, MamaDearest! Thanks!
