Yup, I did.

In all of the recent excitement the benchmark information concerning the real al-Qaeda jihadi threat was getting smothered by EOM's rantings.

The jakel23 image which I identified as being specifically associated to Eid al-Adha (Festival of the Sacrifice) on December 9, 2003 is core to Osama bin Laden's publicly announced desire to lead a martyrdom mission; to mount his Arabian horse and martyr himself in "the belly of the Eagle" before the end of the current Muslim year (1424) the last day of which is February 21, 2004 by our calendar.

Eid al-Adha is the core issue. It occurs due to global date/time variations on 01/02 February 2004.

(This became enmeshed with Houston and the Super Bowl on 01 FEB 04 for myself when a friend who lives in Houston informed me of a small aircraft that he and a group of business associates had observed behaving strangely in the downtown Houston area in late November or early December, if my memory serves. There was an image in lower right-hand corner of the front cover of the Saudi Arabian "Voice of Jihad" #7 which at first glance appeared to be a stadium. Upon critical analysis it was specifically determined to be the Saudi Arabian Ministry of the Interior Building. The US NFL Super Bowl would obviously meet any criteria as a potential al-Qaeda target, but it is a far, far cry from the announced al-Qaeda intent to deliver a blow that will break break America's back and "change the order of things".)

After reading your 'Cave of Darkness' scenario, I wonder 'IF' Osama is enroute to or actually in America to 'martyre' himself and then release a subsequent video, that would seem to possbile be an attempt to incite ALL Muslims to fight giving them a kind of Holy Figure to fight for. Just a thought.

If he is able to come to America and lead an attack, certainly the implications would be enormous in empowering our enemies.
