"Truly, it boils down to, us or them."

Exactly. And I'd rather see these primitive murderers expunged from the face of the earth than us.

These savages have served notice to the world that they are not fit to live among civilized people. I say: extirpate them all. Like you said, better them than us. I think we have no disagreement on this.

But the problem, as I see it, is: can we, (us) do it? Do you think easier for a monocultural society than a multicultural society to confront and defeat the enemy? Is a multicultural society really as united as a monocultural one? If not, then how can a divided society defeat these lunatics?

(The worth of a nation is the worth of its people)

The divided society thing, is the kicker. It's going to get us all. That's why I really wish we could just divide the Country, at times, instead of this perpetual struggle. It's very tiring, and just what the liberals want. Grind us down, so we don't stand up anymore. imo. Won't happen. We can't let it.

Both parties are in search of new voter blocks to break the 50/50 thing. It's dangerous and sad.

Tom, I was shopping today, met several people I knew and just talked. While standing there, I looked around and thought, what if?...We are all so innocent, still.

This is a good question. I hate to be pessimistic about this situation, but I just do not see us being as unified and persistent as the "enemy". In order to be powerful and successful, you must be unified in purpose and beliefs. Hey, look at what is going on in our own country! Having freedom is good, but exercising every possible freedom is not always beneficial. Americans are so divided. We can't even agree on the moral issues that should be evident to all. We are fighting about abortion rights(the killing of innocent babies), homosexual marriages, the use of the word "God" in schools, etc. And, look at the garbage that is being aired on television these days. The only channel that is completely safe for my daughter to watch is the PBS Kids channel. Whatever happened to Andy Griffith, Leave It To Beaver, and I Love Lucy! This is so sad!

This war is not just about people. It is so much bigger than that. I hate to preach, but we are at a crossroads. Christians should know that this is about good vs. evil. It is not just about Al Qaeda and the US/Israel. Satan is rapidly preparing his army. Just look at how many Muslim children are being brainwashed to kill from birth. The question is: Are we preparing God's army?

I will try to refrain from preaching, but I am an individual who is known to speak her mind. I love this country with all of my heart. I am so glad that I was born in this country. I passionately feel that Americans need a wake-up call before it is too late. I pray that we will not have another AQ attack on our soil. However, we are not in control of whether we will be here tomorrow or the next day or the next. One thing in which we can always have security is our relationship with God. That is the one thing that keeps me from pulling my hair out. *smile* This thread is very scary!!!!

Anyway, let me finish catching up....*smile*
