This guy was a CIA asset, member of NDS03, which was outside the chain of command, with tacit nod to kill, torture, do whatever they want. Not supposed to be in the US altogether. "Allies Welcome" does not apply to intel assets. Has wife and five kids, no contact with them in months. Parole improperly given him by Brandon, was revoked, and he overstayed. Apparently, he decided to go out with a bang. But he's not cooperating, so whether or not there's a larger conspiracy is anybody's guess.

I was thinking the young life ( lives) lost in DC were at least partially caused by ROE that leave the Guard troops exposed ( as happened at Abbey Gate), unarmed and unprotected, performing guard duty and security backup as a form of “ civic engagement” to placate democrats and DC politicians worried about “ militarization”.
This jihadist was able to approach them within range of delivering headshots with a handgun. They were not apparently wearing any protective gear or carrying their weapons.
It was not planned ahead to happen.
I bet that Afghan perp. will not live longer than a few days once he is released from his hospital to the federal lock up.
