That’s IQ test of sorts. The smart ones and/or those with means left and the dumb ones and/or those without means were left behind to be exposed to Zelensky’s meat grinder. The sad thing is that those Ukrainians who are drafted are in FOR THE DURATION… until death, severe maiming or desertion. Russian draftees on the other hand are not allowed to be deployed outside of Russia. This has to influence the morale of those involuntarily sent to the front.

The widespread use of drones by both sides has changed the concept of "lines". Now there are extensive areas between both sides where nobody can survive for long, whether they are on foot, on a motorcycle, in a truck, or even in a tank.
Within those areas soldiers from both sides may be present at one point or another, but they have to spend their time underground, in a dugout, a bunker, or a basement.
For a much larger area being present is very dangerous, and it may be 20 kilometers from the "front" line to a place where there is food, water, extra ammunition, and medical aid, and where you can survive above ground for more than a short time.
That is much different from the situation in most recent wars.
