Of course we saw this coming a mile away and we issued as many warnings as we could, but New York City voted for a Communist and that’s what they got….
All lovable and cuddly during the election, promising everything free under the sun, and then just like the Snake in the poem President Trump always reads, New York City is about to be surprised when that Snake bites them hard.
Even CNN’s Van Jones is sounding the alarm on the instant character switch in a victory speech that sounded Stalin-esque!

But back to the speech itself, which is being called “dictator like” and drawing comparisons to Fidel Castro:

The NY Post highlights Mamdani has already threatened to go after President Trump:
Democratic socialist Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani fired warning shots at President Trump Wednesday — threatening to “utilize the courts” if the commander in chief follows through with his threats to defund the Big Apple.
Mamdani wasted little time in making clear he intends to stand up to the Republican president as he vowed not to be intimated in the wake of his election victory.
“The first thing is, you actually utilize the courts. You stop treating things as being law just by virtue of the fact that President Trump is saying them,” a fired-up mayor-elect told “Good Morning America” when asked exactly how he planned to push back against Trump’s earlier threats.
“You can look at the example of California, where you find the Attorney General, the governor and the mayor of LA coming together, filing a lawsuit in opposition to the deployment of the National Guard.”
Mamdani later doubled down and defended his decision to use his victory speech to taunt Trump directly.
“I have said time and again that I will work with the president if he wants to work together to deliver on his campaign promises of cheaper groceries or a lower cost of living,” Mamdani told NY1 as he kicked off his post-election media interviews.
“But for too long, what New Yorkers have seen is a mayor who has been willing to work with the president at the expense of those New Yorkers. I want to make it very clear that if the president looks to come after the people of this city, I will be there standing up for them every step of the way.”
In the lead up to the election, Trump — who repeatedly ripped Mamdani as a “communist” — had vowed to withhold federal funds from the city if New Yorkers voted the socialist in.
“Donald Trump, since I know you’re watching, I have four words for you: Turn the volume up,” Mamdani told his victory party.

So a landlord in NYC can refuse to freeze his rents because the new mayor says they have too, the landlord can sue and wait for a court to decide?
NO ONE with a functioning brain, capable of logical thought and reason, is surprised at Mamdani's "victory speech" last night.
That wasn't a victory speech, it was a declaration of islamic war against the United States of America.
Van Jones and those like him who believed Mamdani wasn't serious about a holy war against the United States of America are complete, total, fools.
Anyone who's surprised at Mamdani's declaration of islamic war against the USA is too.
I doubt the RNC really has to do anything other than let Mamdani and those like him FAIL. It won't be a year until all those who voted for him ask "where's my free stuff?"
Let NYC, Chicago, LA, Boston, and all the Blue Cities & States fail under their own crushing stupidity. President Trump isn't going to win them anyway and neither will JD Vance in 2028.

Well, New York, can’t say you weren’t warned……
The New York Republican State Committee showed how useless they are when they let Curtis Sliwa run unopposed in the Mayoral primary. And they showed how useless they were in 2001, when Giuliani was term limited, they let two lifelong Democrats, Bloomberg and Badillo to run as Republicans in the Mayoral primary. They've been MIA for decades.
As I posted last night, I think Mamdani will soon find out that, while it was fun being a figurehead campaigning and preaching to adoring crowds about free grocery stores, it's not so much fun dealing with garbage collection, snow-plowing snafus, angry unionists, dissension within city government ranks, angry citizens and other actual-Mayor stuff. He's definitely got an ego monstrous enough to soon decide that doing the actual job is "beneath" him.

That was a communist rally, not an acceptance speech.
Look for him to use the police to quell all that rough mayor stuff. Likely he will form some special police unit made up of coreligionist to help get people’s heads right.
