Climate has been changing since long before man. We have insignificant influence over climate (though we are quite capable of screwing up our environment). Humans don’t CHANGE the climate, we ADAPT to it. Sometimes that means migrating out of inhospitable climates over time. Or different food sources or shelters. Think of Sam Kinison’s comedy routine about feeding Africans in the desert. If you live in the desert where there’s no food, MOVE!
In Gate’s case, he realizes that there’s more money to be made in AI, and that requires massive power generation. Can’t have that and still push for less CO2. So he’s coming around to the reality that we have to shift climate change strategy to adaptation. So now he will find ways to profit from that.
When all the premises are lies and all the arguments are lies then all the conclusions are lies.
