When I was a young supervisor I had a boss sit me down and explain, very clearly, that you should rarely use the words “Never”, “Everyone”, or “Always” in reports unless you could document the issue. Because while “Sally” might have wonderful attendance, she probably has come in late at some time.
Whenever I see a story or comment with these words I am “always” skeptical.
I am not infuriated with a new ball room. It is something that was needed. And it has been needed for a long time.
I will admit that it’s a little jarring to see parts of the “White House” torn down. But it was also jarring to see the back wall of my house torn down to expand it. In the end, I have a kitchen/grand room that is wonderful. Three months of construction were worth it. I trust that the new ballroom will be equally valuable.
Change is tough for some people. Its probably more difficult for stupid people.
