I tend to be open minded about conspiracy theories because I don’t ever think the world is how it appears to be. That being said, I’ve never been really sympathetic to the 9/11 conspiracy idea. Too horrific. Too hard to believe that anyone in the US would support such an plan.

But the world is a strange place. It will be really interesting if a strong case can be made that we sort of did this to ourselves.

The starting point should not be wtc1 and 2, but WTC7. It’s clear as day

They attempted to criminally undermine, compromise, frameup, and overthrow a legitimately elected president of the United States. They failed, and many believe they were behind attempts to rig elections and at least one, possibly two assassination attempts.

"I tend to be open minded about conspiracy theories..."

I never used to be, but then I began reading "Legacy of Ashes: The History of the CIA" by former Agent Tim Weiner, and learned that the CIA has been corrupt from its inception, wasted trillions in taxpayer dollars, had more failures than successes, and got a lot of people killed along the way.
