"Wasn’t your former speech a testimony to finding Jesus [sic]. Did Jesus pack heat?" Lewandowski asked, in an apparent attempt to argue that the student’s religious beliefs are incongruous with her views on the red flag law.
Jesus helped the Roman Centurian's servant, without any admonition for the Centurian to: "not pack heat."
AND
In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus did not say "Live by the sword, die by the sword." Jesus said: If He needed to be protected, that protection would have been provided, not by man; and that night, those who used the sword to protect Him, would perish by the sword, for they would not be allowed to prevent what must be fulfilled.
"Live by the sword, die by the sword," has been used by bureaucrats in the church, and in government, and in academia, to disarm and force people into submission. And there are plenty of those bureaucrats who have no sense of preventing abortion, effectively by the sword.
IMHO
At one point, Jesus DID tell His followers to arm up.
And two swords was enough.
