I'm not faulting the female in this case. I never thought that LEOs had to obtain a warrant to search a back pack of a murder suspect that was just apprehended.

There’s a full manhunt on for a depraved violent killer who just killed a man by shooting him in the back. At some point you’d think public safety common sense in an emergency like this would take precedence over technicalities.
