In this day and age a 20 y/o with almost no online footprint and very few pictures strikes me as weird as hell.

It has been reported that the rifle used belonged to the father? Will the father be charged as an accessory since he didn't secure the rifle? Or did he allow the kid to use it? Since there is not much of a footprint for the assassin, what do we know about the family? Did the perp have two parents? Who are they and what do they do? Is it possible that there was instigation for the perp to do what he did? Or did he just wake up last Saturday and say to himself, "Ya know, I think I will try to assassinate the former president today!" Sum ting wong

From reports, it appears that the shooter asked to borrow his father’s rifle to go shooting at the gun club he was a member of. This appears to have been a routine event, until the shooter took off and didn’t return the rifle.
