Failed Trump Assassin Purchased Ladder and 50 Rounds of Ammo on the Morning of the Rally, According to New Report

According to a report from CNN citing law enforcement officials, Crooks bought the ladder from Home Depot on the day he tried to assassinate Trump from the roof of a nearby building.

If this report is accurate and to be believed, Crooks may have made it past law enforcement and the Secret Service carrying a very tall ladder and used it to climb the building unnoticed.

CNN reports:

On Friday, he went to a shooting range where he was a member, and practiced firing, a law enforcement official told CNN. The next morning, Crooks went to a Home Depot, where he bought a five-foot ladder, and a gun store, where he purchased 50 rounds of ammunition, the official said.

Then, Crooks drove his Hyundai Sonata about an hour north, joining thousands of people from around the region who flocked to Trump’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. He parked the car outside the rally, with an improvised explosive device hidden in the trunk that was wired to a transmitter he carried, the official said. Then, investigators believe, he used his newly-bought ladder to scale a nearby building, and opened fire on the former president.

Many ladders that service roofs of industrial buildings start 8-10 feet off of the ground. Discourages kids and others from getting on the roof.

That’s a 10 foot ladder ... not exactly inconspicuous to carry around.

The They is MSM and people at SS and FBI who keep putting out stupid excuses. Like saying the shooter bought a 5’ladder when
As you point out the ladder shown at building is more than 5’
They want us to believe the shooter transported the ladder in his Sonata then carried it and his rifle to building and No cop thought to question him?

Budgets are tight these days at DOJ. Thru told the kid you have to buy your own ladder no $$ in the budget. Plus if we lent you one that asset gets tracked back to us

I shouldn’t laugh at that...but I did.

Seriously, I understand these guys may never have killed another human being, so I fully understand how there could be hesitation.

But these people are supposed to train to get around that. But still...

I used to have a Sonata and you could certainly carry an 8’ ladder inside because the back seats fold down. I used to carry 2x4x8s all the time. And you could carry a 10-12’ ladder if the trunk lid was tied down.

Best case scenario of what happened: Abject failure on part of the security team.

Worst case scenario of what happened: It was a failed operation. I heard on a report last night that this was not Trump’s usual security team, that his usual team had been replaced. Replaced by team operatives? Hmmm.

Looks like someone from 4chan flashed a Dick Tracy badge at a drunk CNN reporter at a bar and gave him an exclusive.

Oy vay!

What is the medallion logo on this guy’s sleeveless sweaty T-shirt.

There is a wrench, a miner’s hammer and a sheaf of plant life across the top (looks like). Banner through the middle is unreadable. There is a USA on the right middle.

All of a sudden there is no more “Sonata” this killer had but— a VAN. Recall that previous in the created on the spot narrative of leaks— explosives/detonators in this guy’s Sonata. Then the ladder (at least a 12 foot step) became apparent they changed the vehicle or— added it in. As they go along. There is a lot of data points being added and altered.
So, not as much investigation but an expose of incompetence.
Two items— a rifle (maybe one of the LEOs in the A/C’d building staging area (under which this guy was positioned with a rifle) got his rifle. Early on—we “hear” his rifle was his dad and he was a terrible shot then we learn he has regular range time— (where?) and a 40 plus mile drive to get there. Seen walking around inside the perimeter, not going through the scanner stations. Range finding- pretend to take a photo, etc. all after the fact. They KNEW who this guy was- he had help.

It’s more important to know what this killer was shooting. We have the standard “ar-style” crap still circulating. The side view videos of in position when starting to fire— no scope, and a lower caliber rifle, iron sites. He walked around prob. with a range finder, and a drone like overhead photo in the same shirt was taken (we had this early on).

He could not have driven both the van and a Sonata there. He had help. Hope they find him/her. The ladder and the rifle getting in and being both on/near the very building where LEO staging was done (underneath his position on the roof of that building)— well it is beyond coincidence. Who? somebody aided this clown.

And the base of the ladder is curved outwards (12’ Red Werner, collapsible (?) so would fit in Sonata. From the overhead photo there seems to be the std black top step (a no step top of a step ladder, not collapsible). The collapsibles do not have the permanent hinged top step but the main hinge.

3 large trees clumped close next to the building more than 15 years old— the crossing passageway (covered/roofed) between two buildings is in that space covered 1/2 way by the trees, which look to be evergreens (cedars?).

Yeah, just spitballing. Just noticed how that tree happens to perfectly hide the ladder.

Since he rolled to the right side- the tree could have had the rifle too. Wonder if any of our flatfeet have thought to look for trimmed inner branches to hang a sling reachable from the roof (a thought).
