Clark County Judge Mary Kay Holthus dismissed the case against the 6 GOP electors on Friday.

At a Friday morning hearing in Clark County District Court, Judge Mary Kay Holthus said she was unconvinced by state prosecutors’ arguments that Clark County was the appropriate county to hear the case. The electors’ attorneys had argued a more appropriate venue would be in Carson City, where the false signing ceremony took place, or in Douglas County, where the fake elector documents were originally mailed from.
The ruling by Clark County District Court Judge Mary Kay Holthus to dismiss the case didn’t sit well with Aaron Ford, Nevada’s radical AG, who vowed to take his case directly to the US Supreme Court. AG Ford blamed the judge, who he said “got it wrong!” and warned, “We’ll be appealing immediately!”
But according to the Seattle Times, it’s too late. – Defense attorneys bluntly declared the case dead, saying that to bring the case now to another grand jury in another venue, such as the state capital city of Carson City, would violate a three-year statute of limitations on filing charges that expired in December.
“They’re done,” said Margaret McLetchie, attorney for Clark County Republican party chairman Jesse Law, one of the defendants in the case.

Our idiot AG here in Nevada is wasting our tax money on lots of stupid cases like this. He should instead be helping get voter rolls cleaned up, tackling out of control crime in our cities, etc.

I love that this case went this way, but the reasoning was disappointing. The judge ruled that they filed it in the wrong jurisdiction, meaning that if they file in the correct jurisdiction, the outcome might be less favorable to the victims.
Is the DOJ going to jail the judge?
Yup. DC is the biggest monopoly on earth, and has been for decades. It’s time to break it up and send its agencies to locations that make sense with their functions: Interior to Denver for example, Commerce to New York, Agriculture to Omaha, Defense to San Diego. Energizing the economies of all the cities chosen, and filling the departments with employees who know what they’re talking about.
And for goodness sake get rid of all the three-letter agencies created in the late ‘60s and ‘70s to placate rioting hippies.

But the unofficial Democratic certificates, obtained by POLITICO from the non-digitized files of the National Archives, show the three Kennedy electors signed documents that are remarkably similar to the false Trump-elector certificates.

Charlie Gerow, a veteran Pennsylvania Republican strategist who signed one of the pro-Trump elector certificates, said he and several other electors who were lawyers devised the strategy to include a caveat.
“We put in the contingent language quite bluntly because I and several others in the room who were lawyers insisted upon it,” said Gerow, who is currently running for governor. “We inserted that language specifically to avoid some of the charges that are coming from the left.”
Gerow said the Trump allies met at the offices of his firm, Quantum Communications, to sign the Pennsylvania certificates. At that time, several of Trump’s long shot court challenges were still pending, he noted, and the Trump electors in those states wanted to be ready in the off-chance a court handed Trump a win.

That AG deserves to lose. Whether or not he has a mind worth keeping is debatable.
I am so tired of all of this law-fare. If all the states would just go to paper ballots, real voter ID, mail in voting for those that truly can not get to a polling place due to infirmities or in my case voting from overseas in the past, poll watchers from all parties not hindered in their observations, no ballot harvesting, no drop boxes, and early voting no sooner than two weeks before the election so everyone knows late developing issues. It should be noted that late developing issues are mostly false. I like early voting as I do not need to stand in line for an hour or so.
If all the above are done all would accept the results of an election. The Dems are fighting honest elections, not the Repubs. What the Dems are fighting is to deny the legitimate voters a voice by diluting their vote with fraudulent votes.
Relative to voting overseas I was on a drilling rig in the North Sea. I informed the registrar of voters to send my ballot to “My Name, TOR Platform, Helicopter Services, Sola Helicopter Base, Sola, Norway. My ballot arrived. I voted. My total cost was the price of a Norwegian Stamp to mail it back. I gave it to the chopper pilot and it was mailed in. I voted.
No alternate slate of electors, in any state, signed the actual certificate that was presented at the Electoral College.For example, Michigan's alternates were blocked from the publically-accessible signing room in the Michigan Capitol, and further threatened with arrest if attempting to enter.
Further, NO alternate slate of electors were even permitted to present an alternate certification.
Thus there was no actus reus, and no crime could have possibly been committed in any state.
This is a convenient dismissal on jurisdiction but -- nudge-nudge -- based on the facts of the case, ie, the judge told NV Atty Gen Soyboy to go peddle your non-case somewhere else.

Do you have a source for that statement? If they never certified they were the electors, what crime are they charged with? I must be dense.
The judicial forum in lawfare cases is more important than any evidence the prosecutor might have, which in most cases is speculative at best. Most judges and juries outside heavily progressive jurisdictions would throw it out. Manhattan and DC and SF do not even need a trial to find a Republican candidate guilty. That is why Democrat prosecutors in more balanced jurisdictions don’t waste their time chasing their wet dream of bagging a Republican candidate
Agreed. The first order of business to save the Country needs to be to disembowel Washington DC. Its like the 'Capitol' in the movie 'Hunger Games'.
I don't blame the people - IF anyone is brought up in a close community where everyone drinks the same koolaid, and everyone works for the same boss (big Government) and their livelihood is based on big Government - of course this entity (Big Government) will become their god.
The only solution to save the Country (before they turn us all into 'District 13' from the Hunger Games) is to eliminate many of the agencies, downside the rest -- and then scatter the remaining agencies to different States across the Nation.
Again, I don't blame the people in DC that much (although they are destroying the country, and God forbid any America loving citizen has the misfortune to go before a jury in DC) - if you grow up in this Godless environment, you'll worship the local idols.
