I’m not sure what the onlyTrumpers think DeSantis can legally do?
The Supreme Court has very clearly and unanimously ruled that governors have zero power to ignore valid extradition requests.
Puerto Rico v. Branstad, 483 U.S. 219 (1987).
It’s amazing at how little the internet crowd actually knows.
“I’m not sure what the onlyTrumpers think DeSantis can legally do?”
I don’t expect DeSantis to deny a legal order for extradition. I do expect him to say that the: 1. Investigation. 2. The witnesses credibility. 3. Political purposes. 4. The no crime, crime, since it wasn’t even an affair. 5. The realization that the NY DA never prosecuted Bill CLinton for a similar event. 6. That the DA is Soros backed, which makes it look even more political. 7. That the SDNY let the Biden’s go unmentioned when it comes to events related to CCP spying and influence buying. 8. That this is basically been investigated and dropped by the Mueller team. 9. That Hillary Clinton’s campaign finance law breaking was addressed with a fine from the same office.
I would expect him to say that it’s clearly only political, plays to a justice system that is entirely political. That these activities are unwanted by the American Public and will not be tolerated in Florida. That these types of events prove what Donald Trump has been saying about the corruption and power of government officials and their overreach based upon political purposes. That if sex wasn’t an issue with the Clintons, even unwanted sexually explicit behavior, than it should have been with other Democrats such as Trump (when this occurred). That fines should be considered for campaign finance violations, not arrests, like with Hillary, Bill, Barrack, and the Governor or NY State.
So a Statement that says laws, prosecutions, and accountability cannot be different for Republicans that are former democrats, than say active Democrats.
