Russia is no longer the threat and military power they once were. We no longer respect them and feel we can do whatever we want, that's what Ukraine is about. Lie (NATO East expansion), cheat (Minsk), back peddle on promises (Ballistic Missile Treaty)... and then pretend they started a war when we expect them to accept conditions we would NEVER accept (a major military power playing on our border: i.e. Grenada, Cuban missile crisis, Nicaragua). There will come a day of reckoning, and it will be sooner rather than later. When this day comes, we will get what we deserve. We industrialized them, we let them steal our tech.
