I think the raid was another ploy to get Trump indicted for something and keep him from running in 2024. While some in the cabal running the country may have considered the possibility of stirring up a right wing rebellion to further their narrative of Trump wanting to overthrow the government, I don’t think that was their intent. Their January 6 kangaroo trial fizzled despite fabricated testimony and “bombshell” revelations to show Trump as deranged and plotting a coup or the Capitol protestors as being a mob akin to the storming of the Bastille.
