Preferred Pronouns and More: What I Saw at Teachers Union Convention
California Globe ^ | July 25, 2022 | Brenda Lebsack

As a teacher, I attended the National Education Association convention last week, and my worst fears were confirmed.

Public schools are no longer a safe place for families who hold traditional values or for families who believe gender (as in male/female binary) is biologically determined.

It was also evident that the teachers union is a lobbying arm of the Democratic Party.

My late wife was an NEA member. This crap has been going on since the 70’s in the NEA.

With your history and skills you might be able to help start your own school system. My guess is that the more people have an option of better schools for their children, they will vote for laws which give them tax rebates for those private schools.
I don’t think we can fix union, woke controlled public schools. That model is dead.

I had a haughty barbie doll wanna-be English teacher in the 7th grade who went by Ms. She hated me for some reason. English was my best subject. I was a quiet and unassuming kid with an occasional mischevious streak but not in her class so I don’t know why.

I had a string of teachers like that. One had a profound impact on my life. She ripped into me the day after Ronald Reagan was elected President in 1980. I came into class happy as usual. She came to work hung over and nearly in tears. I smelled blood. She wanted me to work on a group project with a kid that never did any work. I told her that I would do the work myself and I wasn’t carrying him. I did that intentionally because I knew it would push her over the edge and I wanted the kid know what I thought of him. She went ballistic, yelling and screaming at me. I never raised my voice. I was calm, rational and respectful in my request. It was at that moment that I fully realized that the vast majority of teachers are low-IQ leftists. She knew I supported Reagan. She couldn’t handle or accept that. She didn’t give a damn about other peoples’ opinions or voice of the nation. She didn’t give a damn about students.

My preferred pronouns are Eff, Uckoff, Andie. How I would love to put that on my email signature at work.
