The House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol riot announced it will hold a new hearing on Tuesday “to present recently obtained evidence and receive witness testimony.”
The surprise hearing, set for 1 p.m. ET on Capitol Hill, was announced Monday afternoon. It was not immediately clear what new evidence the committee planned to reveal. The panel did not identify who was scheduled to testify.
Monday’s announcement came days after the committee’s fifth public hearing, which focused on how former President Donald Trump pressured the Department of Justice to help him overturn his loss to President Joe Biden in the 2020 election.
The committee previously planned to hold seven hearings on the initial findings from its nearly yearlong investigation into Jan. 6, 2021, when a violent pro-Trump mob stormed the U.S. Capitol and sent members of Congress fleeing for safety.

Target
Dog and pony shows — on a moment’s notice — the MSM will be right there, no problem.
They are going to make up a lie. They won’t leave this alone until they make a last effort to make sure he can’t run again. They will try to push through a lie. This surprise has been planned for a while..
More BS from the Russian collusion hoaxers.
Got to keep the sheep looking away from inflation, high gas prices, and the contracting economy.
Dos the word crapweasel apply?
After nearly 2 years, there is no new evidence.
There was no insurrection. We didn’t come with our firearms.
Ignore this shit show.
Time to force this BS back into the spotlight after Roe v Wade
I’ll bet it’s Hillary Clinton.
She can really lie.
And still, nobody cares.
Wylie Coyote’s gonna get that Roadrunner for SURE this time!
“Got to keep the sheep looking away from inflation, high gas prices, and the contracting economy.”
...this won’t do it. Economy is 1st and foremost always. For the “sheeple” that don’t know what “economy” means...gas prices, prices on Hamburger Helper w/o the hamburger, beer.
It’s probably that backstabbing Pence who will be their “surprise” witness. Lord knows what lies he’ll be telling the clowns on that panel.
Don't look at the skyrocketing gas prices, inflation, mortgage rates, and crime rates. Don't look at shortages of infant formula and other products, empty store shelves, businesses laying off employees, or the stock market crashing. Also, don't look at all of the liberals rioting around the country because the Supreme Court finally sent Roe v. Wade to the dustpan of history.
The only thing that you should care about is a three hour mostly peaceful protest by a bunch of tourists in D.C. over a year and a half ago.
They had to create something PDQ to distract from Angry Joe’s “I think you’re clear” voicemail to Hunter.
“Vice Chair Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., has said that the committee’s final two public hearings will focus on how Trump illegally directed his supporters toward the Capitol, then failed to take quick action to quell the attack once it began.”
Does this mean that the infamous Ray Epps will be available as a witness and available for cross examination? Absolutely not! Not one “witness” that has appeared before this kangaroo court has been cross examined. Yet the committee expects us to believe what is being proffered. They think that we Americans have “STUPID” tattooed on our foreheads.
It’s all Good. We can all kick back and wait for the indictments.
and yet again no one will give two sh*ts cause no one gives two sh*ts
