It is visible! It is palpalable! Morale in the both the Armed Forces of the Ukraine as well as in the general society is dropping like a stone. Soldiers are laying down their weapons, surrendering or simply try to walk home after Azovstal, because the fairy tale, the fantasy of proud and committed nazi soldiers bravely resisting, has shattered. The will to resist from the Ukrainian side is crumbling fast.

These are just a few and reports of Ukrainian forces surrendering are many and increasing......

Taking a bit longer than I'd figured, Russians plainly aren't going to charge into positions that the nazis have just had 8 years to fortify, but they are doing the kind of thing that the Russian army excels at, dividing Nazi-held parts of the Donbas up into sectors and blasting those sectors apart one by one with those 240mm mortars, self-propelled 152mm artillary and whatever kinds of bombs they feel like dropping on them in given situations. Other reports indicate that there are no open corridors through which any sort of NATO arms could get to the Donbas.

While shrinking in number, there are still open lines of communication for the Ukrainians to get supplies into parts of the Donbas.

Now that the Russians were able to kill, capture, or lay to seize a significant number of Nazis, the average Ukrainian soldier has a better chance of not being killed by the Nazis if they walk away from the fight the Nazis want and the average soldier doesn’t.
