Humbly request prayers for my wife, Connie. A few days ago she developed a terrible cough, and she went to the ER. An EKG and an MRI revealed fluid in her lungs and around her heart. The cardiologist diagnosed it as congestive heart failure. Her injection fraction was only 30. She's going to likely be out on disability for at least a few weeks and will have a long slog recuperating. She's currently comfortable, and getting Lasix, antibiotics, and potassium IV. I'd like some of my fellow Freepers to kindly pray along with me.

I had the same symptoms, but almost died from it. EF at 17. Kidneys and liver shutting down, due to all the fluid retention.
It was AFIB that did me in.
Cardio rehab, cryo ablation, and lots of prayer have me back to no more heart failure diagnosis, and an EF around 57% - which is normal.
Wonder if there's intermittent AFIB going on? They have devices that one can wear for a month that monitors 24/7 - to help figure things out.

Father we ask that You place Your healing hand on Connie and give her the strength to recover quickly and fully. We thank You that she found the problem in time. We also ask that You comfort Viking and support him as he supports his beloved wife..

Dear Father, we ask for increased faith, healing and strength for Connie as she recuperates. we ask for patience, steady care and companionship from her loving family and husband. we ask for kindly, correct and comprehensive treatment from her medical professionals. thank you Jesus for Your ever present help in our times of illness. In the name of the Great Physician we ask for total healing: minds, bodies, and most of all, spirits. Amen.

Really sorry to hear that. I’m glad she’s feeling better. Trust her caretakers, which are undoubtedly highly trained and skilled, and know that they care about her and are doing everything they can.
I’ll definitely be saying some prayers for her to get better quickly and make a full recovery.
