Well that escalated quickly. The technology isn’t for you, no prob. Push comes to shove I might not trust it either. But I see the testing. Autonomous driving will be safer than most humans at some point. And far safer than millions of teenagers and the inebriated. Glad you are a very safe driver.
I’m a big proponent of driving defensively. It’s easy really. If I’m on a big highway and there are no cars in front or behind me for 100 yards it’s almost impossible to have an accident. I told my kids growing up that when driving, going slow let’s one avoid driving mistakes much more likely. YMMV
