Agreed. It’s irretrievably damaged goods. I wonder why someone with $$$ hasn’t created a truly nonpartisan mostly-news network . . . like the BBC but gently center-right rather than far left. Heaven knows international news coverage in the U.S. is abysmal.
The only difference between BBC and CNN is that you have to put on a snooty accent that you never grew up with.

CNN International was once the best real news you could get in English, no matter where you were watching it in the world, and as I recall, you couldn’t get it in the USA.
