I have had people assume, by my appearance, that I am Jewish, when I am not. Those people include a rabbi and a Jewish guy who ran a sandwich stand I used to go to. I guess I won’t have any advantage if I am hanging with Whoopi when the Klan comes down the street.

I have had people assume, by my appearance, that I am Jewish, when I am not.
We have an old picture of my grandfather and a couple of my great uncles, dressed up in suits each with one foot up on the running board of my grandpa's 1933 Buick, that he happened to buy at a police auction after it was impounded. It was used as a getaway car in some local bank robberies. It looked like a scene from The Untouchables. We're Jewish but people thought grandpa was a Luciano or Gambino Lieutenant 🙂🙂
